FAYETTEVILLE, ARK. Kansas University's women's golf team is tied four fourth place after Sunday's first round of the 16-team Tyson/Embassy Suites Invitational.
The Jayhawks shot an opening round of 303 at the par-72 Pinnacle County Club.
Arkansas leads the tournament with a 291, followed by Nebraska with a 298.
Kansas' Amanda Costner, who birdied five holes on the day, is the overall individual leader by one stroke after firing a 70.
