Baldwin ? Baker University couldn’t get going offensively and lost, 23-12, to Central Methodist on Saturday at Liston Stadium.

It was the Wildcats’ ninth straight defeat since last season and dropped BU to 0-5.

Seth Williams rushed for Baker’s first touchdown, and quarterback Brian Sheppard threw a TD pass to Ryan Pitts for the Wildcats. Both conversion attempts failed.

Baldwin High product Micah Mason carried 16 times for 62 yards and caught three passes for 44 yards for Baker.

The Wildcats will travel Saturday to Missouri Valley in Marshall, Mo.
