Des Moines, Iowa ? Junior Dan Ferguson placed fourth in the men’s 3,000-meter steeplechase on Saturday at the Drake Relays, leading the Kansas University track squad. Some Jayhawks competed this week at the Penn Relays. Ferguson placed fourth in a time of 9:08.28. Also Saturday, junior Cameron Schwehr finished fifth in the 1,500 meters (3:50.34), junior Joshy Madathil was 10th in the same race in 3:53.47. Senior Megan Manthe placed sixth in the women’s 1,500 in 4:32.56, and junior Brandon Hodges placed seventh in the men’s 800 in 1:52.36.

KU will travel May 13-15 to the Big 12 Conference Championships in Manhattan.
