Chamber to hold education discussion
The Lawrence Chamber of Commerce on Wednesday will host a “Talk of the Town” discussion on financial issues affecting public education.
The forum begins at 4:30 p.m. at the Lawrence Public Library Auditorium, 707 Vt. It’s expected to last an hour.
Featured speakers include Kansas University Chancellor Robert Hemenway and USD 497 Superintendent Randy Weseman. Both will field questions from the audience.
