Army Pvt. Kory Davids has graduated from the Network Switching Systems Operator-Maintainer Advanced Individual Training course at Fort Gordon in Augusta, Ga.

The course is designed to train the soldier to install, operate, and perform systems maintenance on large and small electronic switches; system control centers; node management facilities; associated multiplexing and combat net radio interface equipment; short range line of sight radio systems; communications security devices, and other equipment associated with network switching operations.

He is the son of Kathy and Steve Davids, Lawrence.

¢ Army Pvt. Robyn Crank has graduated from basic combat training at Fort Jackson in Columbia, S.C.

During the nine weeks of training, the soldier studied the Army mission, history, tradition and core values, and physical fitness, and received instruction and practice in basic combat skills, military weapons, chemical warfare and bayonet training, drill and ceremony, marching, rifle marksmanship, armed and unarmed combat, map reading, field tactics, military courtesy, military justice system, basic first aid, foot marches, and field training exercises.

Crank, a 2002 graduate of Tonganoxie High School, is the daughter of Beth Crank, Tonganoxie
