Michael Joseph Masucci, Kansas City, Mo.

Kansas City, Mo. ? Mass of Christian burial for Michael Joseph Masucci, 36, Kansas City, Mo., will be at 10 a.m. today at St. Thomas More Catholic Church in Kansas City, Mo. Burial will follow in Mount Olivet Cemetery.

Mr. Masucci died Saturday, Jan. 22, 2005, at Shawnee Mission Medical Center in Merriam, Kan.

He graduated from St. Thomas More Grade School and Grandview High School. He attended Kansas University and Long Beach State University on basketball scholarships.

Mr. Masucci played professional basketball in Asia, Portugal and Turkey.

Survivors include his wife, Vanesa; a son, Joseph Robert; his mother, Mary Kay Masucci; and two sisters, Kathleen Cronley and Mimi Orpin.

The family suggests memorials to the Joseph Robert Masucci Education Fund, sent in care of Central Bank of Kansas City, 666 E. Red Bridge Road, Kansas City MO 64131.
