Leona D. Clark, Ottawa

? Graveside services for Leona D. Clark, 90, formerly of Ottawa, will be at 2 p.m. Tuesday in Highland Cemetery, Ottawa.

Mrs. Clark died Saturday, Jan. 22, 2005, in Carrollton Nursing Center, Carrollton, Mo.

She was born Aug. 13, 1914, in Chugwater, Wyo., the daughter of William A. and Elva F. Stovall Fowler. She moved with her family to Higbie, Mo., before moving to Madison, Mo., where she graduating from high school.

She moved to Ottawa in 1969, and ran a dairy farm with her husband. She also worked at Ransom Memorial Hospital in Ottawa and a nursing home for several years and helped manage rental properties.

Mrs. Clark was a former member of Calvary Baptist Church in Ottawa.

She married Leslie N. Clark on Nov. 8, 1930, in Moberly, Mo. He died March 17, 2003.

A son, Bobby Wayne Clark, also died earlier.

Survivors include a daughter, Dorothy Peterson, Paris, Mo.; a son, Donald Clark, Waverly, Mo.; and numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
