Smith-Hoover

Lindsey Smith, Lawrence, and Jason Hoover, Eudora, were married Nov. 6, 2004, at Plymouth Congregational Church in Lawrence with the Rev. Peter Luckey officiating.

Lindsey and Jason Hoover

The bride is the daughter of Michael and Marcia Smith, Lawrence. The groom is the son of James and Carole Hoover, Eudora.

Maid of honor was Corey Smith. Best man was Mark Brunk. Bridesmaids were Grace Hoover, Julie Kellogg and Dawna Rutledge. Groomsmen were Jim Hoover, Rodney Jones and Chad Rodriguez. Flower girl was Sarah Martin. Ring bearer was David Martin. Jamie Whitt and Lisa Graham were candle lighters. Julie Lucito was guest book and gift table attendant. Ushers were Justin Johnson, Randy Cook, Jarrett Enright and Christopher Maples. Carmen Hocking was the wedding coordinator.

A reception followed the ceremony in the Lawrence Holidome ballroom.

The bride is a Lawrence High School graduate. She received a degree in communications from Kansas University. She is a supervisor in retail sales at Sears Roebuck and Co. in Lawrence.

The groom is a Eudora High School graduate. He received a degree in business administration from Kansas State University. He is a loan officer at Kaw Valley Bank in Eudora.

The couple reside in Eudora.

Neuburger-Talbott

Jennifer Elizabeth Neuburger and Ryan Anthony Talbott, both of Lawrence, were married Nov. 6, 2004, at the First Presbyterian Church in Salina with the Rev. Tom Reid officiating.

The bride is the daughter of Arthur and Connie Neuburger, Salina. The groom is the son of Butch and Susan Talbott, Garden City.

Maid of honor was Ann Marie Kriss. Matron of honor was Karin Messmore. Best man was Aaron Talbott. Bridesmaids were Denise Trummel, Naomi Payne and Sarah Pethan. Groomsmen were Tim Neuburger, Jason Pittman, Brian Collins and Jeff Watson.

A reception followed the ceremony at the Salina Country Club.

The bride is a graduate of Salina Central High School. She received a Bachelor of Science degree in math education, a Master of Arts degree in art history and a Master of Science degree in education from Kansas University. She is finishing a doctoral degree in art history and is employed as a graduate teaching assistant.

The groom is a graduate of Garden City High School. He studied architecture at Kansas State University. He received a degree in English from KU. He is working as a draftsman at Klover Architects in Overland Park.

The couple reside in Lawrence.

Bechard-Murphy

Kristen Bechard, McLouth, and Benjamin Murphy, Olathe, were married Dec. 18, 2004, at McLouth United Methodist Church with the Rev. Wayne Castle officiating.

The bride is the daughter of Anthony and Vicki Bechard, McLouth. The groom is the son of Gerry and Sally Murphy, Olathe.

Maid of honor was Heidi Karn. Best men were Jeremy Murphy and Gerry Murphy. Bridesmaids were Melissa Murphy, Heather Hafner, Diane Born and Penny Burchett. Groomsmen were Adam Glendening, Chris Born and Ian Oswald.

Junior bridesmaid and candle lighter was Chelsey Breshears. Junior groomsman and candle lighter was Jarrod Bechard. Ushers were Brad Bechard, Devin Bechard, Derek Terry and Donny Mayfield. Ring bearer was Matthew Hamon. Flower girl was MaKenna Snowbarger. Organist was Ken Edmonds. Peggy Forsberg and Roger Lemmons were soloists. Reader was Janna Terry.

Bride’s assistant was Margee Castle. Guest book attendants were Megan McCormally and April Fahey. Program attendants were Kelsey Yadon and Danielle Yadon. Gift attendants were Torie Gallagher, Taylor Gallagher and Lisa Bechard.

A reception was given at the Eagles Lodge in Lawrence.

The bride is a McLouth High School graduate. She is a senior at Kansas State University, where she is employed.

The groom is a graduate of St. Thomas Aquinas High School. He received a Bachelor of Science degree at K-State. He is pursuing a master’s degree at Emporia State University. He is employed by K-State.

The couple reside in Manhattan.

Arndt-Norris

Jenny Arndt and Tim Norris, both of Lawrence, were married Oct. 23, 2004, at Shawnee Presbyterian Church in Shawnee with the Rev. C. Randall Odam officiating.

The bride is the daughter of Bill and Sharon Arndt, Merriam. The groom is the son of Ken Norris, Lawrence, and Judy Hauschild, Lawrence.

Matron of honor was Ann Miller. Best man was Drew Trybom. Bridesmaids were Wendee Egbert, Karen Lemon and Jenni Martin. Groomsmen were Rich Melton, Kevin Spurling and Darren Waisner. Flower girls were Natalie Miller and Lauren Miller. Ring bearer was Nathan Miller. Ushers were Jason Arndt, Brian Freeman, Brad Hauschild and Brad Hunt.

A reception was given at the Theme Party Emporium.

Jenny and Tim Norris

The bride is a graduate of Shawnee Mission North High School. She received a Bachelor of Business Administration degree in accounting from Washburn University and a Master of Business Administration degree from Baker University. She is decision support coordinator at Lawrence Memorial Hospital.

The groom is a graduate of Lawrence High School. He received a Bachelor of Science degree in telecommunications management from DeVry University. He is an information systems manager at Z International in North Kansas City, Mo.

The couple reside in Lawrence.
