Edwin L. Pate

KANSAS CITY, KAN. ? Services for Edwin L. Pate, 70, Kansas City, Mo., will be at 10 a.m. Tuesday at Highland Park Funeral Home in Kansas City, Kan. Burial will be in Highland Park Cemetery in Kansas City, Kan.

Mr. Pate died Thursday, Jan. 6, 2005, at St. Joseph Health Center in Kansas City, Mo.

He was born July 6, 1934, the son of Edwin C. and Vera T. Carter Pate. He graduated from Wyandotte High School in 1952.

Mr. Pate served in the U.S. Navy during the Korean War.

Survivors include three daughters, Glenda J. Gorsline, Kansas City, Mo., Patricia A. Pate-Butner, Leawood, and Janet L. Clauser, Ottawa; seven grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren.

Highland Park Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
