The Lawrence Mentor’s Duplicate Bridge Club met Dec. 22. Two teams participated in a knockout match. Don Brennaman directed the game. The team of Bob Huffman, Helen Huffman, Bob Anderson and Betty Spalsbury won the match.

The Lawrence Duplicate Bridge Club met Monday. Eight and a half tables participated in a stratified game following a Mitchell movement. Virginia Seaver directed the play.

Sitting North-South, James Zhang and Harry Shaffer finished first in A. Larry Bodle and Kent McCullough were second. Julia Brooks and Virginia Seaver placed third. Clyde Romer and Steve Phelps took fourth in A and first in B. Alice Leitch and Frances Vogel took second in B and first in C. Carl Mibeck and Jack Mibeck placed second in B.

Competing East-West, Cathy Blumenfeld and Mike Blumenfeld claimed first place in A, B and C. Jerry Sloan and Eldon Herd were second in A. Paul Heitzman and Donna Johnson placed third in A. Dan Osman and Ann Thompson took fourth in A and second in B and C.
