? Graveside services for Hazel Ruth Ledom, 88, Ottawa, will be at 10 a.m. Thursday at Highland Cemetery in Ottawa.

Mrs. Ledom died Sunday, Jan. 2, 2005, at Village Manor Nursing Home in Ottawa.

She was born May 26, 1916, in Ottawa, the daughter of Louis and Edith Louisa Morris Stevenson. She lived in Ottawa until moving to Woodson County at the age of 12. She returned to Ottawa in 1932. She attended schools in Ottawa and Toronto, Kan.

Mrs. Ledom was a homemaker. She was a member of First United Methodist Church and Sunshine Sunday School Class in Ottawa. She also was a member of Dorcas Circle of the United Methodist Women and Fairmont Extension Homemaker Unit.

She married Raymond Calvin Ledom on Dec. 26, 1932, in Eureka. He died March 17, 1992.

Survivors include four sons, Charles Edward Ledom, Lawrence, Howard Raymond Ledom and Forrest W. Ledom, both of Ottawa, and Larry Max Ledom, Topeka; 16 grandchildren; and 39 great-grandchildren.

Friends may call from 9 a.m. to 9 p.m. today and 9 a.m. to 9 p.m. Wednesday at Dengel & Son Mortuary, where the family will receive them from 7 p.m. to 8 p.m. Wednesday.

The family suggests memorials to Midland Hospice, sent in care of the mortuary, 235 S. Hickory, Ottawa 66067.
