Dorothy Pearl ‘Dot’ Parker
Services for Dorothy Pearl “Dot” Parker, 83, Lawrence, will be later in California. She was cremated.
Mrs. Parker died Friday, Dec. 31, 2004, at Lake View Manor in Lawrence.
She was born May 4, 1921, in Marshall, Mich., the daughter of William and Pearl Morley Sawyer. She left school in the third grade to care for her parents. She lived in Vassar, Mich., before moving to California.
She married Hardy Lee Parker in 1958 in Blackfoot, Idaho. He died in February 1976.
Survivors include two sons, John Parker, Perry, and Lee Parker, Detroit; a brother, Charles Sawyer, Prescott, Mich.; and a sister, Margaret Roberts, Irvine, Calif.
