These are representatives of area small businesses who had 100 percent employee participation in the 2004-2005 United Way campaign. They received the Employee Participation Award during a breakfast Dec. 20 at the United Way Center in Lawrence. Hallmark Cards Inc. received a Corporate Citizen Award and Employee Participation Award for outstanding efforts during the 2004-2005 United Way campaign. The Corporate Citizen Award was given to businesses with the highest corporate gift per employee. The Employee Participation Awards were given to organizations with the highest percent of employee participation, and a minimum 0 average gift per employee.

The award, which was presented by the United Way at an appreciation breakfast on Dec. 20, recognized businesses that operated outstanding employee campaigns for United Way.
