George B. Fisher, Tonganoxie

Tonganoxie ? Services for George B. Fisher, 79, Tonganoxie, will be 11 a.m. Friday at Quisenberry Funeral Home in Tonganoxie. Burial will be in Maple Grove Cemetery in Tonganoxie.

Mr. Fisher died Monday, Jan. 31, 2005, at Providence Medical Center in Kansas City, Kan.

He was born April 2, 1925, in Witchie, Texas, the son of William and Ada Goforth Fisher.

Mr. Fisher was a machine operator for 35 years at CertainTeed Corp. in Kansas City, Kan., and retired in 1986.

He married Evelyn Sanders on Sept. 4, 1948, in Hatfield, Ark. She survives, of the home.

Other survivors include two daughters, Gladys Rogers and Brenda Olsen, both of Tonganoxie; three grandchildren; and a great-grandchild.

The family will receive friends from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. Thursday at the funeral home.
