Beth Johnson, director of economic development in Rice County, will be introduced today as the next vice president for economic development at the Lawrence Chamber of Commerce.

Johnson, a Kansas native and graduate of Kansas State University, will succeed Lynn Parman, who left earlier this year to take a job with the Kansas City Area Development Council.
