Showers to linger through evening

Don’t put your umbrella away — light scattered showers will continue to dampen the pavement through late tonight.

“We’ll have light showers here through the evening, ” said Jennifer Schack, 6News meteorologist. Schack says she expects showers to linger through 10 tonight.

“Then the clouds should break up a little overnight, and re-thicken up tomorrow” Schack said.

Tuesday morning’s weather gets off to a chilly start, with 37 for the morning low, she said.

“It’s going to be one of those blustery days, with winds out of the northwest, kind of breezy,” she said. “We’ll only top out at 58 tomorrow. Cool. Well below average.”

Wednesday morning’s temperature will start off at a low of 37 degrees, she said. Wednesday’s high will be 64, under partly sunny skies, she said.

“For the next two days, we’ll be dry, then as we head toward the end of the week, we’ll have chances for storms,” she said.
