De Soto ? Lawrence’s Seabury Academy went 1-1 at a high school volleyball triangular Tuesday. The Seahawks fell to De Soto, 25-19, 22-25, 25-9, but beat Shawnee Maranatha, 25-14, 25-20.

“It was a pretty good day,” Seabury coach Craig Friedrichsen said. “We’re learning.”

Molly Thurman had 10 kills and three blocks on the day. Against De Soto, Seabury’s Elise Stella was 18-for-18 serving and had five aces.

Seabury (3-2) will play host Friday to Lawrence Veritas Christian.
