Lawrence police are investigating an 18-year-old woman’s claim that she was raped after accepting a ride with two men in a black stretch limousine early Sunday morning, police said today. The woman, a Georgia high-school student who was visiting friends at KU, told police she encountered the limousine about 1:30 a.m. outside The Hawk, 1340 Ohio St.

She told police she got in because she needed a ride home and was then raped by one of the men as the other held her down.

Police don’t have any suspects but are still investigating.
