Lutz-Rice

Jasmin Lutz and Drew Rice, both of Highlands Ranch, Colo., were married June 27, 2004, at Sapphire Point in Breckenridge, Colo., with Ronald W. Lutz officiating.

The bride is the daughter of Gary Lutz, Shreveport, La., and Moonshadow, Phoenix. The groom is the son of William and Linda Rice, Ozawkie.

Bridesmaids were Jayla Sevigny, Jessica Tomlin and Amanda Lutz. Best man was Jeremiah Lutz. Groomsmen were Troy Rice and Scott Schuler. Flower girl was Kristine Packard. Junior bridesmaids were Chelsey Tomlin and Mia Tomlin.

A reception was given at Rubywood Mansion in Breckenridge, Colo.

The bride is a 1997 graduate of Jefferson West High School, Meriden. She received a bachelor’s degree in psychology in 2001 from Kansas University. She is an authorized provider consultant with the Mile High Chapter of the American Red Cross in Denver.

The groom is a 1996 graduate of Jefferson West High School. He received a master’s degree in accounting and information systems in 2002 from KU. He is a senior accountant with EKS&H Accounting in Denver.

The couple reside in Highlands Ranch, Colo.

Teague-Stewart

Jessica Teague and Casey Stewart, both of Lawrence, were married June 12, 2004, at Danforth Chapel on Kansas University’s campus with David Woosley officiating.

The bride is the daughter of Jimmy and Paulette Teague, Lawrence. The groom is the son of J Stewart and Dawn Stewart, both of Lawrence.

Matron of honor was Crystal Rand. Best man was John Thomas Stewart V. Bridesmaids were Bethany Hess, Katherine Smith and Meredith Wales.

Groomsmen were Matt Steen, Ryan Steen and Trevor Smith. Ushers were Kiley Patterson and Joe Corrillo. Reader was Erin Rosebaugh. Flower girl was Hutton Fritzel. Ring bearer was Andrew Smith.

A reception was given at Abe & Jake’s Landing in Lawrence.

The bride is a Lawrence High School graduate. She received a bachelor’s degree in communications from Washburn University. She is a property manager for Tuckaway Management in Lawrence.

The groom is a Free State High School graduate. He attended Johnson County Community College. He is a job foreman at Hutton Farms in Lawrence.

The couple reside in Lawrence.

Rice-Disberger

Brandie Rice, Salina, and Bill Disberger, Hutchinson, were married June 19, 2004, at Clinton Lake Overlook with the Rev. Shirley Edgerton officiating.

The bride is the daughter of Ron and Trudy Rice, Lawrence. The groom is the son of Irma Disberger, Council Grove, and the late Dale Disberger.

Maid of honor was Sally Jennings. Best man was Rod Jerrick. Bridesmaid was Cassie Scripter. Groomsman was John Kern. Ring bearer was Trevor Disberger. Vocalist was Wanda Macy. Reader was Teresa Disberger. Heather Hinshaw and Rebecca Hinshaw were candle lighters. Ushers were Brad Rice, Dan Disberger, Seth Scripter and Andrew Sylvester. Greeters were Julie Flory and Jill Wagner. Gift attendants were Nicole Harris and Callie Schiltz. Cake servers were Lucie Crotts and Wendee Grady. Pesha Schwensen was personal attendant. Megan Brown and Carrie Edmonds were reception hosts.

A reception was given at the property of the bride’s parents.

The bride is a Lawrence High School graduate. She received a Bachelor of Science degree and a Master of Science degree from Kansas State University. She is an agriculture education teacher at Southeast of Saline High School.

The groom is a Council Grove High School graduate. He received a Bachelor of Science degree and a Master of Science degree from K-State. He is an agriculture teacher and livestock judging team coach at Hutchinson Community College.

The couple took a honeymoon cruise to the Bahamas. They reside in Inman.

Moeser-Peckham

Kathryn Carter Moeser and Eric Alan Peckham, both of Tacoma, Wash., were married July 3, 2004, at the Pagoda in Point Defiance Park in Tacoma, Wash., with William Chatwood officiating.

The bride is the daughter of Kaye Moeser, Lawrence, and Susan and James Moeser, Chapel Hill, N.C. The groom is the son of Joan Peckham, Tacoma, Wash., and the late Robert Peckham.

Matrons of honor were Cara Anderson and Cali Shufelt. Best man was Tom Huelsbeck. Other attendants were Jennifer Brannan, Susan Moeser, David Gunovich, Chris Moeser, Lawrence Randall and Mike Rivers. Tyrone Heade played bagpipe.

The bride is a graduate of Lawrence High School and Kansas University. She received a doctorate in physical therapy from the Arizona School of Allied Health Sciences in Phoenix. She is the director of a clinic in the Tacoma, Wash., area. The groom graduated from high school in Tacoma. He is a graduate of Pacific Lutheran University. He is employed by the bookstore at the University of Puget Sound.

The couple took a honeymoon trip to the Bahamas. They reside in Tacoma, Wash.

Deathe-Tuckness

Lacy Kay Deathe and Tyler Nathan Tuckness, both of Eudora, were married June 12, 2004, in rural Eudora with Judge Peggy Kittel officiating.

The bride is the daughter of Al and ViAnn Deathe, Eudora. The groom is the son of Don and Judy Tuckness, Lenexa.

The couple took a honeymoon trip to Cozumel, Mexico. They reside in Eudora.

Morgan-Goldman

Jill Andrena Morgan and Jeffrey Samuel Goldman, both of Lawrence, were married July 31, 2004, in the Chapel of the Venetian Hotel in Las Vegas.

The bride is the daughter of Douglas and Pamela Morgan, Lawrence. The groom is the son of Edward and Susan Goldman, Edmond, Okla.

The groom is a graduate of Edmond Memorial High School. He received a bachelor’s degree in communications from Kansas University. He is a Paul Davis franchise owner in Lawrence.

The couple, along with their two children, reside in Lawrence.

Chace-Ingham

The bride is the daughter of Harold and Judy Chace, Salina. The groom is the son of Dr. Laird and Carol Ingham, Lawrence.

The bride is a graduate of Salina High School South. She received a Bachelor of Arts degree in environmental studies from Kansas University. She is an environmental scientist at the Kansas Department of Health and Environment in Topeka.

The groom is a Lawrence High School graduate. He received a Bachelor of Science degree in environmental studies at KU. He is an environmental scientist at the Kansas Department of Agriculture in Topeka.

The couple reside in Lawrence.

Woodward-Hetrick

Meta Woodward, Eudora, and James Hetrick, Lecompton, were married June 19, 2004, at an outdoor wedding at Fall Leaf Farm in Eudora with the Rev. Dan Michaux officiating.

The bride is the daughter of John and Julie Woodward, Eudora. She is the granddaughter of Gary and Pauline Woodward, Lansing; Warren and Betty Dunn, Emporia, and the late Ruth Woodward.

The groom is the son of Dennis and Debbie Hetrick, Lecompton. He is the grandson of Lawrence and Cheryl Hetrick, Tecumseh; Larona Walburn, Topeka, and the late James Hetrick.

Maid of honor was Jill Woodward. Best man was Mike Barnes. Bridesmaids were Jo Hetrick, Kristen Woodward and Kristin Grosdidier. Groomsmen were John Boose, Jeff Barnhardt and Nate Giffillan. Flower girl was Paige Hetrick. Junior flower girl was Haley Hetrick. Ring bearer was Zachary Woodward.

The groom is a Perry-Lecompton High School graduate. He is employed at Schlumberger in Lawrence.
