Douglas County Family and Community Education in cooperation with K-State Research & Extension Family and Consumer Sciences is offering the program “Crafters’ Delight in T-Shirts” at 9:30 a.m. Friday in the Deal Six Auditorium at the Douglas County 4-H Fairgrounds, 2110 Harper St.

The program will be given by Linda Davis, wife of sports announcer Bob Davis. Participants will make flag pins and other patriotic and holiday or seasonal crafts. She also will show how to do a sweatshirt decorating technique.

The Stull Busy Beavers 4-H Club had a wiener roast and hayrack ride during its October meeting at the Schumanns’ residence. Members played games and sang songs. The meeting was called to order by Josh Lesser, president.

The 4-H Sunday committee announced the club would recognize 4-H Sunday on Oct. 24 at the Stull United Methodist Church.

The next meeting will be at 6:30 p.m. Nov. 8 at the Stull church. It will be parent’s night.
