Salina ? Eudora will play in the Class 4A state volleyball tournament today, ending a 13-year postseason drought.

The second-seeded Cardinals (33-6) will open pool play at 8:30 a.m. at the Bicentennial Center against Prairie View (23-14) before taking on Wamego (24-10) at 10:30 a.m. and Holton (28-7) at 12:30 p.m.

Prairie View defeated the Cards on Sept. 21 at LaCygne. Eudora has not faced its other pool-play opponents.

The top two teams in each pool advance to Saturday’s semifinals.
