The bride-to-be is a 2004 graduate of Kansas University with a degree in sociology. She is employed at the Pottery Barn in Leawood.

The future groom is a 2001 graduate of KU with degrees in political science and communication studies and a 2004 graduate of KU’s School of Law. He was sworn into the Kansas Bar on Sept. 24. He is employed with the Nancy Boyda for Congress campaign.

The couple plan to marry today at the Plymouth Congregational Church in Lawrence.

The bride-to-be is a McLouth High School graduate. The future groom is a Lawrence High School graduate. They are employed by Huhtamaki in De Soto.

Tom Moore, Leawood, and Judy Moore, Prairie Village, announce the engagement of their daughter Jenny Moore, Olathe, to Piotr Zygmunt, Olathe, son of Jan and Ela Zygmunt, Longmont, Colo.

The bride-to-be is a 1998 graduate of Shawnee Mission East High School, Prairie Village. She received a Bachelor of Science degree in business from Kansas University in 2002. She is an account executive in the retail advertising division of the Kansas City Star.

The future groom was raised in Lawrence and attended Lawrence High School until his junior year in 1997. He is a 1998 graduate of Boulder High School. He received a Bachelor of Arts degree in communication studies in 2003 from KU. He is an insurance account executive with Health Benefits Professionals.

The future groom is the son of Tom and Theresa FitzSimmons, Belfast, Ireland, and Marcia and Steve Feldhaus, Washington, D.C. He is a graduate of Choate Rosemary Hall, Skidmore College and George Washington University Law School.

The couple plan an Aug. 20, 2005, wedding in Chicago.
