Kenneth Norvell Owens

Mr. Owens died Monday, Oct. 4, 2004, at his home.

He was born Sept. 8, 1936, in Stilwell, the son of John and Evelyn Maupin Owens. He attended Olathe High School, Johnson County Community College and Kansas University.

Mr. Owens served in the U.S. Army from 1959 to 1961. He was a member of Eagles Lodge No. 309 in Lawrence, American Legion Capital Post No. 1 in Topeka, Moose Lodge No. 555 in Topeka, Masonic Lodge No. 19 in Olathe, Scottish Rite in Lawrence and Arab Shrine in Topeka.

Survivors include two sons, Kenneth Alan, Lawrence, and Brian William, Cimarron; two sisters, Irene Alexander, Columbia, Mo., and Maxine Cravens, Pottsboro, Texas; and four grandchildren.
