An Evening with Ted Owens and Friends, a fund-raiser for the Bert Nash Center, will be held Nov. 4 at the Lawrence Holidome.

Owens, who coached Kansas University’s men’s basketball team for 19 years, will be feted by current KU men’s coach Bill Self, former Missouri coach Norm Stewart and many former players, including Jo Jo White, Bud Stallworth and Roger Morningstar.

Tickets can be obtained by calling Marilyn Sell at 830-1795. The $125 price includes a social hour with open bar, dinner and program.

All proceeds will benefit the Bert Nash endowment trust fund. Similar benefits honoring Max Falkenstien and Don Fambrough raised nearly $100,000 for the mental health facility.
