Lawrence-based Kansas Wildscape has opened bidding on its annual fund-raiser — the Holiday Auction, a broad collection of outdoor items and packages.

All proceeds will go to programs that encourage conservation and responsible use of Kansas natural resources.

This includes education efforts and awareness programs primarily focused on state youth, as well as projects conducted in partnership with Kansas Wildlife and Parks.
