Six Kansas University volleyball players have earned Big 12 Conference all-academic honors.

Seniors Ashley Bechard, Jill Dorsey, Ashley Michaels and Lindsey Morris and sophomores Jana Correa and Jamie Mathewson were honored for achieving a 3.0 or better cumulative grade-point average.

Dorsey, Michaels and Morris are three-time honorees while Bechard, Correa and Mathewson were named for the first time.

The Jayhawks (15-10, 6-10 Big 12) will meet No. 11-ranked Texas tonight in Austin, Texas. The Longhorns swept KU earlier this season at Horesji Center.

Kansas will be back home Saturday night against Texas A&M.
