Jackson Wayne Wiseman Jr.
Baldwin ? Services for Jackson Wayne Wiseman Jr., 56, Baldwin, will be at 10 a.m. Wednesday at Lamb-Roberts Funeral Home in Baldwin. Burial will follow at Vinland Cemetery.
Mr. Wiseman died Sunday, Nov. 7, 2004, at University of Kansas Hospital in Kansas City, Kan.
He was born April 27, 1948, in Lawrence, the son of Jackson and Talitha Stevens Wiseman. He was a lifelong resident of the Vinland area and attended Vinland Grade School. He graduated from Baldwin High School in 1966.
Mr. Wiseman was a dairy and grain farmer most of his life. He worked at LRM Industries in Lawrence for the past 18 years as a heavy equipment operator.
He married Linda Swadley on Oct. 12, 1968, in Lawrence. She survives, of the home.
Other survivors include four daughters, Kelli Sousley, Olathe, Kristal Griem, Lawrence, Kathi Wiseman, Overland Park, and Kasi Wiseman, stationed with the U.S. Army in Iraq; his father, Jackson Wiseman Sr., Ottawa; his mother, Talitha Stevens Wiseman Bailey, Vinland; a brother, Steven Patrick, Vinland; and three grandchildren.
The family will receive friends from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. today at the funeral home.
