Latest tickets go quickly for Clinton speech

Tickets for former President Clinton’s upcoming speech are once again gone.

KU officials moved the event from the Lied Center to Allen Fieldhouse last Friday in order to allow for about 10,000 more attendees to Clinton’s Friday afternoon speech.

On Monday, Allen Fieldhouse ticket officials handed out 5,000 tickets to KU’s students, faculty and staff.

Today it was the general public’s turn to wait in line for the next round of 5,000 tickets made available this morning.

The 5,000 free tickets were gone in less than three hours at the fieldhouse ticket window, where people had been lining up since before 6 a.m.
