Gordon K. Foster

Memorial services for Gordon K. Foster, 40, Lawrence, will be at 11 a.m. Friday at Trinity Lutheran Church.

Mr. Foster died Tuesday, May 4, 2004, in Lawrence.

He was born June 20, 1963, at the RAF Base in Bentwaters, England, the son of Guy Herr and Mary Jane Conlin Foster. He graduated from Shawnee Mission South High School in 1981 and graduated with honors from Baker University in 1997 with a bachelor of arts degree in business administration. He also attended Kansas University and was a member of Sigma Alpha Epsilon fraternity.

Mr. Foster had been an accountant for the Kansas Department of Health and Environment for three years and worked at the Kansas Department of Aging before that.

He married Rose Eiesland on Oct. 15, 1988, in Topeka. She survives of the home.

Other survivors include a daughter, Georgia Foster, of the home; a son, Sam, of the home; and two brothers, Brock and Guy, both of Overland Park.

Family will receive friends from 6:30 p.m. to 8 p.m. today at Warren-McElwain Mortuary.

The family suggests memorials to the Education Fund for Georgia and Sam Foster or the Shawnee County Library, sent in care of the mortuary.
