Student reports incident of flashing
A Sunflower School student told police a man driving a minivan exposed himself to her as she walked home from school.
The alleged incident happened shortly after 4 p.m. Thursday near 27th Street and Crossgate Drive. The man didn’t say anything to the girl and didn’t try to lure her closer to the van, said Sgt. Mike Pattrick, a police spokesman.
The girl described the suspect as a white man in his 40s with brown hair, a mustache and a goatee. She described his vehicle as an older-model gray minivan with a brown stripe.
Police have not received any other recent reports of similar incidents in that area, Pattrick said.
