The future groom is the son of Kevin and Betty Lee, Omaha, Neb. He received a master’s degree in sports administration from KU in 2003.

The couple plan a May 15 wedding at Corpus Christi Catholic Church in Lawrence.

The future bride is a 1999 graduate of Free State High School. She received a Bachelor of Arts degree from Kansas University in 2003. She is in graduate school at KU, where she is pursuing a degree in speech and language pathology.

The future groom is a graduate of Chisholm High School and Southwestern Oklahoma State University, Weatherford, Okla. He is employed as a store manager for Digital Connect, Topeka.

The couple plan an Oct. 9 wedding at First Southern Baptist Church in Lawrence.

The bride-to-be is the daughter of Tom and Ginny Meinen, Baldwin. She is a graduate of Baldwin High School and Wichita State University. She is the secretary for the School of Music at Wichita State University.

The future groom is the son of Larry and Charlotte Wagner, Hutchinson. He is a graduate of Hutchinson High School and Wichita State University. He works at Guardian Title and Trust.

The couple plan a May 21 wedding at St. Thomas Aquinas Catholic Church in Wichita.

Betty Bunce, Lawrence, announces the engagement of her son Steven Bunce, New Castle, Del., to Alice Romo, Owensville, Mo.

The future bride is the daughter of Fred Romo, Ozark, Ark., and Gretchen Maertens, Huntsville, Ark. She is a 1991 graduate of Northside High School, Fort Smith, Ark. She earned a Bachelor of Science degree in printing management in 1995 from Pittsburg State University. She is a project manager for Von Hoffman Corp., Owensville, Mo.

The future groom also is the son of the late John Bunce. He is a 1990 graduate of Lawrence High School. He received a Bachelor of Science degree in automotive technology service management in 1995 from Pittsburg State University. He is employed by General Motors Corp., Wilmington, Del.

The couple plan an April 3 wedding at First United Methodist Church in Lawrence.
