Wheatfields Bakery, 904 Vt., will appear in a five-minute segment of the Food Network program “The Best Of,” which will air March 10 and 11.

Wheatfields, known for its delicate pastries, gourmet sandwiches and European-style, wood-fired breads, will be featured in a segment of the show called “Viewer’s Choice.”

The show highlighting Wheatfields, particularly its sandwiches made with the bakery’s own kalamata olive bread, will air at 8:30 p.m. March 10 and 1:30 a.m. March 11.

The Food Network is available in Lawrence on Sunflower Broadband Channel 69.

A crew from the Food Network visited Lawrence in October to tape a segment on Wheatfields, and one on the Hereford House, 4931 W. Sixth St.

No date has been set yet to air the segment on the Lawrence steakhouse. It will appear on a program called “The Best Of Sizzling Steaks.”
