Robert W. Merrifield

Eudora ? Services for Robert W. Merrifield, 66, Eudora, will be at 11 a.m. Wednesday at Clearfield United Methodist Church. Burial will be in Clearfield Cemetery.

Mr. Merrifield died Saturday, Feb. 28, 2004, at his home.

He was born June 24, 1937, in Kansas City, Kan., the son of Milton and Pansy (Leadbetter) Merrifield. He graduated from Wellsville High School in 1955.

Mr. Merrifield worked for the Missouri Pacific and Union Pacific railroads for 37 years, retiring in 1992. He was active in traffic and transportation organizations.

He was a member of the Clearfield United Methodist Church and United Methodist Men’s Group.

He married Deanna Sturm on June 22, 1958, in Clearfield. She survives, of the home.

Other survivors include a son, Richard, Chicago; a daughter, Lori Hernandez, Baldwin; a brother, William, Ozawkie; and three grandchildren.

Family will receive friends from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. Tuesday at the church.
