Dorothy McCune
Services for Dorothy McCune, 81, Lawrence, will be at 2 p.m. Monday at Warren-McElwain Mortuary. Burial will follow in Memorial Park Cemetery.
Mrs. McCune died Friday, June 25, 2004, at Lawrence Memorial Hospital.
She was born Oct. 31, 1922, in Urbana, the daughter of Carl and Louesa Coder Howell.
Mrs. McCune was a homemaker. She attended First Church of the Nazarene in Lawrence.
She married Arthur G. McCune on April 6, 1941, in Girard. He survives.
Other survivors include a son, Leslie McCune, Arlington, Texas; a daughter, Marilyn Bray, Lawrence; two sisters, Twyla Dragoo, Chanute, and Ila Jerome, Dallas; two grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren.
An infant son, Harold Arthur McCune in 1941, and an infant daughter, Janice Ann McCune in 1949, died earlier.
Family will receive friends from 4 p.m. to 6 p.m. Sunday at the mortuary.
The family suggests memorial contributions to the First Church of the Nazarene, sent in care of the mortuary.
