Gregory Davis

? Private memorial services for Gregory Davis, 52, Manhattan, will be later this week.

Mr. Davis died Sunday, June 13, 2004, at St. Luke’s Hospital in Kansas City, Mo., after a severe heart attack.

He was born May 9, 1952, in Butler, Mo., the son of Allen and Joanne Davis. He graduated from Butler High School and Missouri Southern State College. He was a former resident of Lawrence.

Mr. Davis was a project manager at Grand Mere Development in Manhattan. His other developments included Hallbrook in Leawood and Pebble Shores in Branson, Mo.

He married Sondra Davis on Sept. 6, 2003. She survives, of the home.

Other survivors include his father, Butler, Mo.; a son, Thomas, Branson; three stepdaughters, Krista Peterson, Mission Hills, Libby Walker, Butler, Mo., and Lindsey VanLeeuwen, Pittsburg; a brother, Jeff, North Augusta, S.C.; and four granddaughters.

The family suggests memorials to the Greg Davis Building Trades Scholarship Memorial, sent in care of Manhattan Area Technical College, 3136 Dickens Ave., Manhattan 66503; or to the Butler Country Club for golf course improvements, sent in care of Underwood-Steinbeck-Brandtonies Funeral Home, 10 S. High St., Butler, Mo. 64730-1819.
