Washington ? Deanna Nolan scored 10 of her 19 points in the final four minutes to lead the Detroit Shock to a 74-60 victory over the Washington Mystics on Friday night.

Detroit closed the game with a 15-0 run, sparked by Nolan’s 10 straight points for the Shock’s third consecutive victory.

Tamicha Jackson’s jumper with 4:42 left gave Washington a 60-59 lead. The Mystics, however, failed to score again and lost their fourth in a row at home.

League-leading scorer Chamique Holdsclaw led the Mystics with 20 points and 11 rebounds

Swin Cash finished with 18 points and seven rebounds for Detroit.

Fever 72, Liberty 68

New York — Tamika Catchings scored four of her 17 points in the final 14 seconds, helping Indiana snap New York’s six-game winning streak. The Fever, trailing by 13 points in the opening minute of the second half, rallied to beat New York for the second time — handing the Liberty both their losses this season. Becky Hammon had 22 points and Crystal Robinson added 14 to lead the Liberty, who lost for the first time since dropping the season opener at Indiana — 69-67 on May 21.

Sting 59, Mercury 51

Phoenix — Tammy Sutton-Brown had 18 points and seven rebounds, helping Charlotte snap a four-game losing streak with a victory over Phoenix. Allison Feaster added 12 points, including 2-for-3 from three-point range, for Charlotte. No. 1 draft pick Diana Taurasi had 20 points to lead Phoenix, which has lost three of its last four. Penny Taylor added 10 points for the Mercury, which shot 38 percent from the field (21 of 55).

Storm 68, Sun 63

Seattle — Lauren Jackson scored 22 points and Kamila Vodichkova added a season-high 18 as Seattle extended its home winning streak to four games. Katie Douglas and Asjha Jones added 13 points apiece for Connecticut. Leading scorer Nykesha Sales was held to six points. Vodichkova added 10 rebounds, while Sue Bird and Betty Lennox each scored seven points.

Sparks 69, Lynx 55

Los Angeles — Katie Smith scored 18 points for Minnesota, becoming the fourth WNBA player to score 3,000, but Lisa Leslie’s 19 points and 17 rebounds led Los Angeles. Leslie added five assists and four blocks for the Sparks, who moved into a tie with Houston for second place in the Western Conference. Both are a game behind Seattle. Minnesota’s Nicole Ohlde added 12 points and tied a season-high with 10 rebounds.
