Harvey W. Nelson Jr.

Las Vegas ? Services for Harvey W. Nelson Jr., 77, Henderson, will be at 11 a.m. Wednesday at American Burial and Cremation Services in Las Vegas. Burial will be in Southern Nevada Veterans Memorial Cemetery in Boulder City.

Mr. Nelson died Monday, Jan. 5, 2004, in Las Vegas.

He was born March 25, 1926, in Lawrence, Kan., the son of Harvey W. and Pauline A. Nelson.

Mr. Nelson was an Army veteran and worked as an auto mechanic.

He married Bettie Nelson, who survives of the home.

Other survivors include two daughters, Bettie E. Daniels and Laquetta Nelson, both of Las Vegas; three sons, Robert Lindsey III, Elizabeth, Colo., Cas Lindsey, Denver, and Harvey Nelson III, Mesquite; a sister, Alice Joy, Topeka, Kan.; a brother, John Nelson, Lawrence; and several grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

Family will receive friends from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m. today at the funeral home.
