Learning center plans benefit

Agency: The Strategic Learning Center

Address: 1245 N.H.

Contact person: Rose Foster, 331-3236

The Strategic Learning Center needs volunteers for its “Band Together for Learning” benefit. Money raised from the event will help outreach efforts to assist the nonprofit learning center in providing tutoring services to students of all ages. The benefit will be Jan. 24 at Liberty Hall and will include dinner, a performance by the band Sellout, dancing and a silent auction. Volunteers will help gather items for the silent auction, plan and obtain decorations before the event, and set up and work at the event itself. For more information contact Foster at the number above or at rtfoster@smarttogether.org. Tickets may be purchased at the Liberty Hall box office, 642 Mass., or by calling the learning center.
