Huskers surge to rout of St. Francis

? The Nebraska men’s basketball team heads into Big 12 Conference play riding a surge of momentum after beating St. Francis (Pa.), 93-49, Tuesday night.

“I think it meant a lot for us to jump on them and stay on them like that,” Marcus Neal said. “It gives us a lot of confidence going into the Big 12. It’s a matter of everybody believing in ourselves. I guess you could call it a swagger.”

The Red Flash (3-7) missed its first 13 shots and turned the ball over five times as Nebraska (10-1) jumped out to a 15-2 lead.

Nate Johnson led the Huskers with 19 points, Andrew Drevo had 14, and Wes Wilkinson, John Turek and Neal had 10 each.

Oklahoma State 84, Texas A&M-Corpus Christi 52
