Larry Franklin Wilson

? Services for Larry Franklin Wilson, 51, Topeka, will be at 11:30 a.m. Wednesday at Most Pure Heart of Mary Catholic Church in Topeka. Burial will be at 4 p.m. Wednesday in Eskridge Cemetery.

Mr. Wilson died Saturday, Feb. 14, 2004, in Topeka.

He was born Aug. 11, 1952, in Council Grove, the son of Dale and Lahoma Kahle Wilson.

Mr. Wilson was a farmer and dairyman and had worked at Lawrence Paper Co. and Meadow Gold Dairy. He had worked for Unified School District 501 service center and received its distinguished staff award in 2000.

He served in the National Guard from 1971 to 1977. He was assistant Scoutmaster for Boy Scouts of America Troop 46 from 1995 to 2001 and was a member of Knights of Columbus Council No. 4254.

He married Alana LoCurto on July 28, 1977, in Oahu, Hawaii. She survives of the home.

Other survivors include his parents, Oskaloosa; a daughter, Heather Winzer, Pittsburg; a son, Heath, Topeka; a brother, Jerry, Eudora; a sister, Reta Kitterman, McLouth; and a grandson.

Friends may call from 3 p.m. to 8 p.m. today at Kevin Brennan Family Funeral Home in Topeka, where a parish rosary will be said at 6 p.m. today. After the rosary, family will receive friends at the funeral home.

The family suggests memorials to the Wilson Children Education Fund, sent in care of the funeral home, 2801 S.W. Urish Road, Topeka 66614.
