Florence L. Yates

Tonganoxie ? Services for Florence L. Yates, 83, Tonganoxie, will be at 11 a.m. Friday at Quisenberry Funeral Home chapel. Burial will be in Maple Grove Cemetery in Tonganoxie.

Mrs. Yates died Wednesday, Dec. 29, 2004, at Tonganoxie Nursing Center.

She was born Oct. 18, 1921, in Virgil, the daughter of George and Rena Wible Burkhart.

Mrs. Yates was a homemaker and member of United Methodist Church in Virgil.

She married Lloyd Yates in 1957 in Troy. He died July 3, 1985.

Survivors include three sons, Gary Blanck, Perry, Charles and Rodney Yates, both of Tonganoxie; a daughter, Marilyn Ousdahl, Lawrence; 10 grandchildren; and 10 great-grandchildren.

The family will receive friends from 10 a.m. to 11 a.m. Friday at the funeral home chapel.
