Dee D. Brecheisen

— Services for Dee D. Brecheisen, 66, Peralta, N.M., will be at 3 p.m. Wednesday at Clearfield United Methodist Church. Inurnment will follow in Clearfield Cemetery.

Mr. Brecheisen died Wednesday, Dec. 22, 2004, in Peralta.

He served in the U.S. Air Force for 26 years and was a decorated Vietnam fighter pilot and lieutenant colonel in the Air National Guard. He was a pilot for TWA for an additional 20 years before he retired. He was a New Mexico historian and contributed significantly to New Mexico historical literature.

Survivors include two sons, Zachary S., of the home, and Michael D., Austin, Texas; four daughters, Deborah A. Boyles and Cynthia J. Brecheisen, both of Los Lunas, N.M., Terry Richards, Las Cruces, N.M., and Jennifer D. Brecheisen, of the home; a stepdaughter, Carolyn J. Lee; a stepson, Michael S. Lee; a sister, Barbara L. Brecheisen, Edgerton; and nine grandchildren.

The family suggests memorials to ALS Assn. New Mexico Chapter, P.O. Box 16495, Albuquerque NM 87191.

Riverside Funeral Home in Belen, N.M., is in charge of arrangements.
