Youths ages 12 through 15 who live in Kansas are invited to submit essays for the Kansas Wildlife Federation’s contest. The theme is “Why I’m Proud to Hunt.”

The winner will receive a free guided hunt from Paradise Adventures, Altoona, during the 2005 youth turkey season. KWF will reimburse the family for mileage.

The winning essay will be published in the KWF newsletter and on its Website, and will be sent to newspapers throughout the state.
