Tell us about your teacher’s cool classroom

It hasn’t been proven that algebra’s easier to study in a purple-colored classroom, but it’s probably more fun. If your teacher has a cool classroom — filled with posters, pets, wild paint, you name it — send us an e-mail at teens@ljworld.com or leave a message at 832-6361. Tell us your teacher’s name, subject/grade taught and school, and also give a brief description of the teacher’s classroom. The deadline to submit teachers’ names is Friday.

Join the teen board

The Journal-World Teen Advisory Board will meet at 7 p.m. Sept. 16 at the News Center, 645 N.H.

Students entering sixth through 12th grades who like to write or have ideas about 18 & Under stories are welcome to attend the meetings.
