GOODLAND ? Two Colorado residents were killed Saturday when their sport utility vehicle drifted off Interstate 70 and overturned, the Kansas Highway Patrol said.

The patrol identified the victims as David E. Zimmerman, 65, and Twila K. Zimmerman, 64, of the Denver suburb of Cherry Hills Village.

The accident occurred shortly before noon Saturday when the eastbound sport utility vehicle driven by David Zimmerman veered into the median about five miles west of Goodland, struck an embankment and overturned, the patrol said.
