The following construction projects may affect commuter traffic in the region this week:

U.S. Highway 75 from Lower Silver Lake Road to Soldier Creek, northbound lanes restricted to one lane during nonrush hours for concrete pavement replacement. Lane width restriction and some ramp closures.

Stubbs Road from U.S. Highway 40 to Southeast 29th Street, closed for bridge replacement over Interstate Highway 70.

East 300 Road from North 1825 Road to U.S. 40, closed for bridge replacement over I-70.

Douglas County Road 1029, from County Road 438 north to Lecompton’s city limits, closed for road overhaul.

U.S. Highway 59 and Kansas Highway 92, traffic reduced to one lane during the workday for milling and overlay.

Interstate Highway 435 from 98th to 87th streets, traffic reduced to two lanes each direction Monday-Friday and reduced to one lane each direction during weekends. Lane width reduced to 12 feet.

I-70 from the 18th Street Expressway to one mile east of Interstate Highway 635 and I-635 from Parallel Parkway to Metropolitan Avenue, traffic reduced to two lanes each direction and exit closures for construction. Detours posted.

U.S. Highway 169 at Seventh Street under Interstate Highway 35, traffic reduced to one lane each direction for bridge repair. On I-35, lane width reduced to 11 feet.

Kansas City Royals vs. Minnesota Twins, 7:10 p.m. Friday and 6:10 p.m. Saturday, Kauffman Stadium, Kansas City, Mo.

U.S. Highway 69 from College Avenue to 119th Street, traffic reduced to one lane each direction for bridge repairs.

31st Street and Nieder Road, traffic reduced to one lane each direction during the workday for intersection improvements.

Haskell Avenue from 11th to 13th streets and 12th Street at Haskell Avenue, closed for stormwater improvements. Detours posted.

19th Street from Rhode Island Street to Learnard Avenue, closed for intersection and stormwater improvements. Detours posted.

Barker Avenue at 19th Street, closed for intersection improvements.

Learnard Avenue from 19th Street to 22nd Terrace, closed for stormwater improvements.
