Cheryl Keslar, left, and Kathy Wagner are winners of the Lawrence Women's Bowling Assn. City Tournament. They won the doubles competition with a score of 1,309. Keslar was the all-events winner with a score of 1,930, and Wagner was the single's winner with a score of 674. The tournament was in February.

The Lawrence Kings seventh-grade team recently took first place in the Slam Missouri Valley USSSA basketball tournament.
