Justine P. McNish
Services for Justine P. McNish, 70, Lawrence, will be at 10 a.m. Saturday at Rumsey-Yost Funeral Home. Burial will be at 2 p.m. Saturday in Union Cemetery in Florence, Mo.
Mrs. McNish died Wednesday, April 7, 2004, at Lawrence Memorial Hospital.
She was born Nov. 8, 1933, in Leeton, Mo., the daughter of George T. and Martha Kasak Barrett. She attended Lone Star School in Missouri and lived in Sedalia, Mo., before she moved in 1969 to Lawrence.
Mrs. McNish worked at the Lamie Levi factory for several years. She attended Flat Creek Baptist Church in Smithton, Mo., and provided child care.
She married James Franklin McNish on Sept. 12, 1959, in Sedalia. He died Feb. 16, 1993.
A son, James McNish, died in 1962.
Survivors include four sons, Earl McNish, Baldwin, Tim McNish, Lecompton, Tom NcNish, Lawrence, and Paul McNish, Avondale, La.; four daughters, Judy McNish and Linda McNish, both of Lawrence, Betty Corel, Lecompton, and Mary Markmann, Wheatland, Mo.; two sisters, Sarah Walls, Independence, Mo., and Martha Kehl, Smithton; and 12 grandchildren.
Friends may call from 5 p.m. to 9 p.m. today and from 9 a.m. to 9 p.m. Friday at the funeral home, where family will receive friends from 7 p.m. to 8 p.m. Friday.
