KU forum to focus on tenant issues

The Kansas University Off-Campus Living Resource Center is helping students with issues that may arise outside of university housing.

The center will play host to a presentation at 7:30 tonight in Alderson Auditorium of the Kansas Union. The presentation is focused on students but anyone is welcome to attend.

The presentation will address tenants’ rights issues dealing with the Landlord-Tenant Act and other issues about living off-campus.

KU plans volunteer fair

More than 30 nonprofit organizations Thursday will be at Kansas University for a volunteer fair sponsored by the Center for Community Outreach and University Career and Employment Services.

The fair will be from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. in the fourth-floor lobby of the Kansas Union.

Organizations scheduled to attend include Hospice Care in Douglas County, Big Brothers Big Sisters and Van Go Mobile Arts.
