Mauler-Meissner

Alvin and Marcelline Mauler, Lawrence, announce the engagement of their daughter Tanya Marie Mauler, to Curt Andrew Meissner, both of Brooklyn, N.Y.

The future bride is a Lawrence High School graduate. She received a bachelor of fine arts in 1995 at Pratt Art Institute. She is a senior designer at Random House.

The future groom is the son of Norman Meissner, Palmetto, Fla., and Charlotte Meissner, Bradenton, Fla. He is a Manatee High School graduate. He earned a bachelor of fine arts in 1992 from Florida State University and a master’s degree in industrial design in 1996 from Pratt Art Institute. He is a senior exhibit designer at Exhibit A Design Group in Brooklyn.

The couple plan an Oct. 11 wedding at St. John the Evangelist Catholic Church in Lawrence.

Martin-Vinson

Steve and Cyndi Mona, Lawrence, announce the engagement of their son Kinyon Vinson, Upland, Ind., to Kimberly Martin, Oswego, Ill.

The future bride is the daughter of Chuck and Sally Stading, Yorkville, Ill., and Bob Martin, Aurora, Ill. She is a graduate of Taylor University, Upland, Ind., where she received a bachelor’s degree in social work.

The future groom is a Lawrence High School graduate. He is pursuing a degree in business at Taylor University. He plans to graduate in December.

The couple plan a Dec. 27 wedding in Naperville, Ill.
